Confirming the incident in Minna on Tuesday, Kuwar Tsukwam, state Sector Commander of the corps, said that the accident occurred at about 3:17 a.m. on Monday.

Mr Tsukwam said the accident involved a Toyota commercial bus with registration number FST 325 YE coming from Lagos to Kaduna State.

The second vehicle involved was conveying cows with registration number EKY 869 XE heading to Lagos State.

He said that the vehicles had a head on collision, adding that the driver of the trailer was yet to be found.

“Twenty two persons were involved in the accident, eleven of them died, ten others sustained various injuries and one unhurt.
