14 ships with assorted goods expected at Lagos port: NPA

The authority said that two ships had arrived the port and were waiting to berth with bulk soya bean and wheat bran.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), on Monday, said 14 ships conveying assorted goods were expected at the Lagos ports from July 10 to July 19.

It listed the items expected at the port as bulk sugar, automobile gasoline, bulk wheat, general cargo, base oil, petrol, bulk gypsum, broken glass, frozen fish and containers.

It added that 21 ships were already discharging general cargo, petrol, container, bulk sugar, bulk salt, ethanol, bulk gypsum, frozen fish, soya bean, butane gas and bulk wheat.

The authority said that two ships had arrived the port and were waiting to berth with bulk soya bean and wheat bran.
