31-year-old man arraigned for allegedly stealing woman’s iPhone

The police on Tuesday arraigned one Patrick Amobi, 31, before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court Ibadan, Oyo State, for allegedly stealing a woman’s iPhone.
Amobi, whose address was not provided was charged with conspiracy and stealing, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The Prosecutor, Inspector Adeshina Folaranmi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on August 24, at about 3.00p.m, at Apata, Ibadan.
Mr Folaranmi alleged that the defendant and others at large stole the iPhone worth N300,000, belonging to one Dolapo Nwanya.
He said the offence contravened Sections 516 and 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The Magistrate, Oluwabusayo Osho, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000 and two sureties in like sum.
She, thereafter, adjourned the case until December 29, for hearing.
