JUST IN: LG Autonomy: Supreme Court rules in favour of FG

The court ruled that henceforth allocations should be paid directly into LG accounts.

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled in favour of the Federal Government on the autonomy of the 774 local governments.

While delivering the judgment, Justice Emmanuel Agim, said that henceforth, the local government allocations should be paid directly into the local government account by the federal government
