The President of the Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel Oladele, has tasked leaders at all levels on the need to imbibe the spirit of teamwork for success.

Mr Oladele stated this on Sunday at the induction service of Pastor Gabriel Aboderin as the 3rd Regional Superintendent of CAC Medaiyese Region, Abuja.

He said that every leader had limited strength and time, hence the need for teamwork.

He cited the example of Prophet Nehemiah who facilitated the building of the fallen wall of Jerusalem ruined for 120 years, but rebuilt in 52 days.

The cleric said that Nehemiah was able to achieve the rebuilding of the wall through cooperation and collaboration.

He said, “No leader does it all, no leader does it alone. You have limited strength and time. The greatest leader that ever lived on this earth, Jesus Christ says ‘a little while you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me.’’

Mr Oladele implored leaders to learn from Nehemiah who was enjoying life as a cupbearer in Persia court, but was saddened and dissatisfied when he heard about the falling walls of Jerusalem. He said that made him to seek King Artaxerxes’ permission to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the fallen walls.

Mr Oladele told the congregation that there were other leaders before Nehemiah, but those leaders were raised to solve different challenges.

“That is why we have to be careful as church members. You should not compare one pastor or leader to another. There should be no basis for comparison in the ministry.

“When God sent out His servant. No minister is like the other. God is not into mass production. He has not promised to duplicate the founder of CAC, the late Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola in anyone.

“You can call yourself anything. It’s individualistic when it comes to the ministry, God made us individually. You just have to be you. God doesn’t promise to duplicate anybody in anybody, ’’ he said.

Mr Oladele advised members of Medaiyese Region not to compare the new regional superintendent with past leaders of the region.

CAC Medaiyese Region comprises CAC assemblies in Abuja, Kaduna and Niger with CAC Federal Capital Territory District Coordinating Council (FCC-DCC), Garki, Abuja as its headquarters.
