American rapper and songwriter Cardi B has joined Playboy as their first ever creative director.

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ crooner on November 2 announced her new status via her Instagram page.

“Introducing the first ever creative director in residence at legendary @playboy, it’s me!!! Joining the @playboy family is a dream and I know y’all are going to love what we put together,” she captioned.

Playboy is an American men’s lifestyle and entertainment magazine known for nudity and sexual oriented content.

In her position, Cardi B is expected to provide “artistic direction across co-branded fashion and sexual wellness merchandise collections, digital editorial, experiential activations and more,” Playboy said in their statement.

The Grammy-winning artist collaboration is aimed at expanding the Playboy brand and community in general.

“I am starting this party right as the founding creative director and a founding member of CENTERFOLD the new creator led platform for playboy coming soon !! We are going to have so much fun,” she added.

Cardi B caused wild sensation during her three-day visit to Nigeria in December 2019 after she rained cash on women at a strip club in Lagos.

She has since endeared herself to more Nigerians and even took up Nigerian name (Chioma B) as she declared her readiness to relocate to Africa’s most populous nation if her husband Offset consents to move with her.
