EFCC nabs 64 suspected internet fraudsters, recovers 18 vehicles

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan zonal office, says it arrested no fewer than 64 suspected internet fraudsters and recovered 18 vehicles in Osun.

The anti-graft head, media and publicity, Dele Oyewale, made this known in a statement made available to journalists on Friday in Ibadan

Mr Oyewale said that the suspects were arrested on Wednesday in Ede, following actionable intelligence on their suspicious fraudulent activities in the area.

He listed items recovered from the suspects to include 18 exotic vehicles, 18 laptops, 112 mobile phones, three PlayStation games.

Other items were five motorcycles and other incriminating documents, among others.

Mr Oyewale said the suspects would be charged to court after conclusion of investigations.
