Ex-Ekiti deputy governor, Bisi Egbeyemi, is dead

The deceased was the deputy to Kayode Fayemi, the immediate past Ekiti Governor.

Bisi Egbeyemi, the immediate past deputy Governor of Ekiti, is dead, Peoples Gazette just learnt. 
Mr Egbeyemi, age 79, died in the late hours of Friday in Ado Ekiti, the state capital. 
Although, the news of his demise went viral on Saturday. 
The deceased was the deputy to Kayode Fayemi, the immediate past Ekiti Governor. 
The Gazette gathered from different sources in Ekiti that the ex-deputy governor died at the Multisystem Hospital in Ado. 
The real cause of his death is not yet known as of the time of this report. 
Mr Egbeyemi served as Deputy Governor of Ekiti from 2018 to 2022.
Mr Egbeyemi, who was born on the 8th of May 1944, was a Nigerian lawyer and politician. 
The Gazette learnt that the last public appearance of Mr Egbeyemi was on February 25, during the presidential and National Assembly elections.
