Former minister Ogbonnaya Onu dies at 72

He was a former Abia governor.

Ogbonnaya Onu, former minister of science and technology, is dead.

He was aged 72. 

He was a former Abia governor.  

His family has yet to make an official announcement about his demise.

According to the BBC, Mr Onu died from a strange illness in a medical facility.

“It is true that Mr Ogbonnaya Onu is dead, but it is up to his family to speak about it,” BBC quoted a ranking member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as saying.
