Former Newswatch editor-in-chief Ray Ekpu loses wife
Ray Ekpu, former editor-in-chief and chief executive officer of Newswatch, has announced the demise of his wife, Uyai Ray Ekpu, after a brief illness.
She was 73.
Mr Ekpu disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
According to him, Ms Ekpu was a senior officer at the Centre for Management Development (CMD) and retired in 2011 as an acting director.
She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master of Library and Business Administration, respectively.
She also earned diplomas from the Maastricht School of Management and the Ghana Institute of Management and Personnel Administration, Ghana.
MsEkpu believed in family values and community service and loved God.
She left behind her husband and three children.
