‘I will end it tonight’ Dj Kaywise hints at possible suicide
Nigerian disc jockey and record producer Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, known professionally as DJ Kaywise, has dropped a message on his social media, suggesting the possibility of suicide.
“I will end it tonight by 9 pm, I did my best,” he wrote on his Instagram page on Wednesday.
The motive of his message on Instagram is yet to be known. However, a few weeks ago, the DJ distanced himself from his twin sibling over allegations that his twin brother attempted to kidnap his girlfriend.
His post has generated widespread reactions as many are confused and have begged him not to take his life.
Former Big Brother housemate Teddya commented @iamteddya, ” Wetin De really happen an? Kaywise no do like that my bro!”.
A fan, @rorisanagt, said, “God will take control… we pray for your divine intervention… let every plan of the enemy fall in Jesus’ name.
Also, a user, @ferrysingz, said, “Your family loves, your fans loves you, your friend loves you, Don’t listen to those voices pls”.
This is a developing story with details yet to be known.
Meanwhile, DJ Kaywise’s cryptic post comes as Nigerians still mourn Mohbad, a singer, who died on Tuesday.
DJ Kaywise’s breakthrough hit, “Highway,” with Phyno, was released in 2020, and it maintained a top position across various music platforms and radio stations upon its release.
