Charly Boy (Charles Oputa) has derided Nigeria’s President-elect Bola Tinubu in the latest trolling of the APC presidential candidate.

Mr Tinubu’s academic qualifications, including his birth records, have often been a contentious issue.

INEC declared Mr Tinubu the winner of the February 25 presidential election after polling 8,794,726 votes to beat his closest rivals Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

Messrs Abubakar and Obi, their parties and supporters are alleging massive rigging and voter intimidation and harassment and had called for the election to be cancelled.

They will now head to the court, according to their latest statements.

Unsatisfied with the outcome of the election, Charly Boy, a staunch supporter of Mr Obi, took to his Twitter to take a swipe at Mr Tinubu, alluding to his controversial academic qualifications.

“Lord have mercy. The only certificate BAT (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) has ever had, please let him enjoy it for sometime,” the self-appointed president of all Nigerian youths tweeted before proceeding to pinpoint Mr Tinubu’s drug conviction while he was living in the U.S. in another tweet.

Charly Boy added, “My fellow Nigerians, we already have a problem with our image abroad, to add an alleged drug baron as our president to the mix is suicidal to our global image. Nigerians, na so we go leave am? This na very bad market for us oooo.To dey get visa go come dey hard small.”

Charly Boy’s trolling of Mr Tinubu were reference to allegations that came out during the president-elect bid and campaign for president, with some section of the public claiming the APC candidate falsified his age and educational records after he failed to provide INEC with the original credentials regarding his qualifications.

Peoples Gazette via Twitter reported how Charly Boy had in a leaked telephone conversation with former President Olusegun Obasanjo on how to force the hands of the APC regime and INEC to cancel the presidential election, by calling Nigerian youths to the streets to “occupy Nigeria.”
