The Aren Akun in Nasarawa State, Usman Galadima Umbugadu, has urged Eggon youths to continue to live in peace with each other for development to thrive.
Mr Umbugadu, a second-class traditional ruler, made the call on Saturday when the leadership of the Eggon Youth Movement (EYM) paid him a condolence visit in his palace.
The youth had visited to condole with the traditional ruler over the death of Bala Angbazo, the paramount ruler of Eggon nation.
He noted that peace and unity were vital to human and societal development, hence his call in that direction.
The traditional ruler thanked the youths for the condolence visit and urged them to continue to pray for the repose of the soul of Aren Eggon.
Earlier, Isaac Kigbu, the EYM president, said they were in the palace to condole the traditional rulers and the entire Eggon land over the death of Aren Eggon.
The Eggon paramount ruler died last week at the age of 89, after a protracted illness.
