Aid organisations in the Gaza Strip are wrestling with the renewed total breakdown of communication and internet services.

“Again, we are completely disconnected with our staff in Gaza for around five hours,” the Palestine Red Crescent Society wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

“Communications, internet services completely cut off in Gaza,” it added. “In spite the hashtag #NotATarget, a reference to the demand that rescue staff, humanitarian workers and volunteers should not be targeted in the conflict.’’
