Initially featured as a single in Wizkid’s Grammy-nominated fourth album, ‘Made In Lagos,’ ‘Essence’ has garnered significant commercial triumph and earned praise on the international stage.

Davido’s ‘Timeless’ album makes Billboard’s 50 best albums of 2023

Nigerian music sensation Davido attains a significant milestone as his latest album, ‘Timeless,’ clinches a coveted spot on the esteemed Billboard Staff list for the Top 50 Albums of 2023, ranking 39. This recognition highlights Davido’s exceptional musical talent and emphasises the increasing prominence of Afrobeat on the global stage.

According to Dan Rys on the Billboard site, “Davido delivers one of the best bodies of work from this past year, and certainly the best of his career.”

Tems releases new single ‘Not Your Angel’

Grammy award winner Tems released a new single on Friday to close out the year. The release came as a shock to fans as she only released one single ‘Me and U’ since the year begun.
