Organic sales increase in Q1 for France’s Thales

Thales reported on Tuesday that its sales for the first quarter were €4.42 billion ($4.73 billion), compared to €4.03 billion in the first quarter of 2023.

Organic sales have increased for French electronics, transport and defence firm Thales in the first quarter compared to the same period of the previous year.

Thales reported on Tuesday that its sales for the first quarter were €4.42 billion ($4.73 billion), compared to €4.03 billion in the first quarter of 2023.

This is up by 9.8 per cent on a reported basis and up by 7.9 per cent at constant scope and exchange rates, including exchange rates and scope effects.

Order intake for the first quarter was 5.04 billion euros, up 46 per cent compared to the first quarter of 2023 at constant scope and exchange rates.

It is up by 47 per cent on a reported basis.

Thales confirmed all of its annual objectives.
