The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, celebrated a 13-year-old Nigerian, Joshua Agboola, who emerged as the youngest Certified Amazon Web Services (AWS) Developer Associate in Africa.

Mr Obi took to his Twitter page to recognise Master Agboola while highlighting the vital role education plays in every child’s life.

“This achievement reminds us of the immeasurable roles that education plays in the life of every child. His success story should also inspire our youths to strive hard to develop their skills and seek to always become better in their fields through continuous learning and improvement,“ Mr Obi said.

Mr Obi, a former governor of Anambra, explained that there is more honour in the success achieved by utilising talents positively.

According to Mr Obi, if Nigerian leadership inspires hope through competence and honesty, with productivity as a key goal, the country will be better. He said the youths would naturally shift their attention away from criminality and toward more productive use of their talents.

Mr Obi also pointed out the remarkable achievements of Nigerian youths in information technology. According to him, the achievements prove that Nigeria is ready to partake in the benefits of modern technology.

Master Agboola is Africa’s youngest Certified Amazon Web Services (AWS) Developer Associate.

He achieved this feat after sitting for a two-hour examination that tested his skills and knowledge in deploying, troubleshooting, and developing on the AWS cloud platform.
