A 300-level student of the Rivers State University, Callistus Uzodinma, aka C-Fly, has won N10 million and a car in the second edition of Big Break Moment (BBM) Africa reality TV show.

Mr Uzodinma edged out 15 other contestants who made it to the final at the grand finale of the show on Sunday night at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

Queen Aliyu, a student of Theatre and Performing Arts at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Fortune Onyekachi, a student of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, emerged first and second runners-up.

According to the organisers, the first and second runners-up will get N2 million each and other benefits.

Orbby Agwuncha, BBM Africa executive producer, said 30 contestants, known as ‘Dream Mates’ were featured in the second edition tagged ‘Rep Your Campus Edition’, after a nationwide audition.

“To find the finest talents across Africa, the Big Break Moment Africa conducted auditions in key cities like Abuja, Enugu, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Kano, bringing the number of universities involved to 182.

“These auditions provided the students an opportunity to showcase their abilities and impress the esteemed panel of judges.

“We do what we do because we want a better Nigeria, we want our youths to be empowered through talents discovery and development,” said Ms Agwuncha.

The show is described as an “edutainment” reality TV show for talented students in tertiary institutions.
