Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, announced via his Instagram story on Monday that he’ll be donating N100 million to children in Surulere for Christmas.

The Grammy-winning artiste wrote, “100M for the kids for Christmas! Lord bless us all.” He said he’ll be donating the money in honour of his late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who died on August 18.

“All in Morayo’s name! The love of my life!.”

Wizkid also gave 20 million naira to a hype man named Money Gee for dedicating a song to him.

An X user, Dani Adenuga, has shared videos of Wizkid in Surulere already. “Wizkid has landed in Surulere, 100 million about to be given out. Biggest bird,” he said.
