This platform is a safe place where you can submit your requests and access necessary resources to support your efforts to expand civic spaces and defend human rights.
The Innovation for Change (I4C) Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Hub and the Gulf Centre for Human Rights (GCHR) designed the WHRDs HelpDesk to create and expand digital safe spaces for regional WHRDs through thematic and rapid support hosted on a MENA WHRDs Digital HelpDesk.

The free e-Learning space, on the WHRDs Help Desk platform WHRDsHelpDesk.org, for women human rights defenders, is a space dedicated to providing educational resources in the form of online courses, to support women human rights defenders in the region in their continuous efforts to developing their capabilities and experiences, join us now and benefit from access to a set of educational online courses. This includes a dedicated set of 7 digital security videos created especially for this platform. The WHRDs Help Desk platform is not only a digital space for learning, networking, and accessing to help and support from each other as civil society activists and human rights defenders, but also through the campaign center WHRDshelpdesk.org/campaigns, a mechanism to enhance opportunities to learn about the various campaigns that WHRDs are designing and/or leading in the Middle East and North Africa, facilitating the process of learning from each other’s initiatives and experiences, and strengthening opportunities for networking and collective action at the regional level.
The Innovation for Change Network – MENA Hub and the Gulf Centre for Human Rights, and other civil society organisations, have produced and developed many resources and tools, and through the resources library on the platform, women human rights defenders can easily benefit from these resources and access them easily and quickly.
