Where are you?" She calls out and raises her arms as if trying to
protect her eyes from the stinging rain. She stumbles, falls, and then
gets up to continue walking.
As the girl staggers and is beginning to feel desperate, out of the dark
rain, the Amerasian appears. He, too, is drenched from head to foot by
the rain. He grabs the girl, holds her tightly against his body and runs
very fast toward the bottom of the mountain.
63 INT. THE MOUNTAIN GROTTO - AFTERNOON
The Amerasian takes her to a small and secluded grotto that he found
days ago while loitering around waiting for her. He picks a dry spot in
the grotto that the rain cannot reach, sweeps it clean, and then
spreads some dry grass and leaves over it.
The girl closes her eyes. She is shivering from the cold and the
scratches she sustained when falling during her run on the hillside.
The Amerasian is in a panic because both of them are soaking wet,
and he doesn't know what to do.
Overcoming his panic, he hurriedly removes his shirt, squeezes out the
water, and then uses it to dry her face and hair. She is still shaking from
the cold and her wet clothes. He hesitates for a moment and then
speaks.
THE AMERASIAN
May I remove your clothes to better
dry you off?
The girl nods weakly. He removes her clothes, squeezes out all the
water, gently dries her off, and then uses his hands to rub her to warm
her up. As he rubs the girl, all he is thinking is to help her fight off the
cold, but as her body warms up, the contact between his hands and
her body stirs him. God, how soft and white her skin is! Her small,
budding breasts turn pink as he rubs them gently with his large, black
hands.
