What a pity. You are still young
and yet you must leave school. Me
too, I left school several years
ago to work and help my mother. But
I am now a grownup. Are you sad?
THE GIRL
Of course, I am sad. But I have
gotten used to it.
THE AMERASIAN
Do you come here often?
THE GIRL
Now and then. When I have nothing
to do.
THE AMERASIAN
Aren't you afraid?
THE GIRL
Of what?
THE AMERASIAN
Ghosts. This is a cemetery after
all.
THE GIRL
My home is nearby, so I am used to
it. I have never seen a ghost.
THE AMERASIAN
Ok, then when I have time, can I
come and play with you?
