THE AMERASIAN
(His face visibly happy)
That would be great! I will be able
to see you more often.

34 EXT. THE CEMETERY – AFTERNOON (FLASHBACK)

THE GIRL is sitting beside the large tomb. The Amerasian comes and

sits down next to her, casually and naturally.

THE GIRL

You are not working today?

THE
I am, but I missed you too much, so

I asked them if I could leave early
to see you. Do you miss me?

THE GIRL
(She lowers her head and mumbles)
I don't know.

THE AMERASIAN
Why not? I missed you terribly. I
think about you all the time. I
always want to see you. Everyday.
Are you happy to see me? Just say
it. Did you miss me? Are you happy
to see me sitting here?

The girl just nods gently. The Amerasian gives her shoulder a happy
squeeze.
