Alright, if necessary, we will
discuss these matters further
later, when we have more time. But
to get back to the matter at hand,
you know well that the rapist is a
black Amerasian, so how can you not
feel full of shame and hate?
Previously, the Americans invaded
our country, committed countless
crimes, and now their remnants
still commit crimes and are
hellbent on destroying our country.
I will tell you this truth: No
matter how much you want to protect
him, I will do my best to bring
this to light and him to justice,
so that he can be punished. I will
never let him get away.
37 EXT. A RURAL VILLAGE – EVENING (FLASHBACK)
A group of American soldiers are firing indiscriminately at civilians –
mostly women and children – during a sweep of the village. Houses
with straw roofs are on fire. Tree branches are broken. A helicopter
circles overhead.
After the American soldiers withdraw, Policeman B, in black guerilla
garb, runs into the village. He turns over the dead bodies to look at their
faces. He grasps the body of a girl and bursts into wailing tears.
