THE MAN (CONT'D)
THE MAN (CONT'D)
Are you done? I have nothing else
to say.
Policeman B stands up reluctantly.
POLICEMAN B
All right. Fine. Today you are a
little upset, and so it is
difficult to carry on a
conversation. I will come back
another day when you are calmer and
more composed. Please rest assured
that I will get to the bottom of
this.
Policeman B glances at the person lying on the bed behind the curtain
before walking out of the empty and dilapidated house.
39 EXT. THE CEMETERY - NIGHT
THE AMERASIAN moves quickly in the dark night. He is as fast as a
leopard. His black face and dark clothes allow him to blend into the
darkness. His steps automatically take him to the cemetery near the
girl's house, and he makes his way to the large tomb where he and the
girl used to sit and talk. He sits there for a very long time and then lies
down to sleep.
40 EXT. THE CEMETERY – NIGHT – A DREAM
Midnight. A crescent moon shines weakly on the world below. THE
AMERASIAN looks toward the girl's home and suddenly sees a small,
white shadow slowly walking out. The white shadow continues to
move slowly toward the tomb and when it gets close, he recognizes
THE GIRL. He is so happy and almost screams with joy as he rushes
out to greet her. The girl embraces him, and he holds her so tight that
he almost suffocates her. Then he carries her to the tomb.
