Ken may have been the one to dump Barbie, but you have exposed Mattel's role in destroying rainforests for cheap packaging. Over 150,000 emails have been sent to Mattel from around the world, but now it's time for something a bit different. Hundreds of Chainsaw Barbies have been hidden around the UK, and it's up to you to track them down. Game on!

Not content with the devastation in Indonesia, Barbie is now on the rampage in the UK. Hundreds of Barbaric Barbie dolls, each brandishing a pink chainsaw, have been hidden across the country and we've asked our crack team of supporters and activists to help track them down.

It's a treasure hunt - but a search for Barbies instead of gold bullion. Once someone has discovered a Barbie of their own, they become a member of our Barbie Investigation Bureau. Then we'll be sending further special assignments so these recruits can help us end the malevolent mannequin's tyranny over Indonesian rainforests.

To join the search check our online map to find a Barbie near you.

You can use the map, photos and clues to pinpoint the exact location of the nearest Chainsaw Barbie. Then head out and take her home to bring her rampage to an end. When you've found one, follow the instructions on her tags to join the elite team.

Over the past few days, Greenpeace volunteers have been busy hiding Chainsaw Barbies around the UK - and more are appearing on the map all the time. If you don't see one near you, check back later as many more will be hidden over this coming weekend.

Barbie could be hiding in a church, a fountain, behind a banner, in a sculpture or up a tree. Keep your eyes peeled, and you might even spot one by chance too.

Follow the clues and track down Chainsaw Barbie. And have fun!

Sorry if you're having problems. There may be a few hiccups in the system! There may be a couple of reasons why you're not able to register. You might have found the Barbies before they've been added to the website, in which case you'll get an error message saying the ID number isn't recognised. Or as the ID numbers were handwritten, there might be confusion between things like 'S' and '5'.

But if none of those seem likely, email your name and the ID number to and we'll sort it out.
