A Yougov poll for Greenpeace shows that green investment is a key issue for Liberal Democrat party members. 77 per cent say the government should safeguard or increase clean energy budgets, despite the government cuts agenda. Five months into office, half of Liberal Democrat members say they want the government to give more priority to protection of the environment.

Liberal Democrat members at party conference in September were keen to tell the Party leadership that they want more green investment and a well funded Green Investment Bank at the Comprehensive Spending Review on 20th October. Please watch their messages to you below.

Also MPs Julian Huppert, Martin Harwood and Transport Minister Norman Baker voice their backing for a Green Investment Bank here.
