With world leaders and his/her partner of unspecified gender arriving in Copenhagen over the next few days, it's the perfect time to grab their attention and focus their minds on the task ahead. Particularly as most are funnelled through one small area, namely Copenhagen airport.
It's a fair bet that many key people will be arriving by air (even those European leaders from countries well connected to Copenhagen by train) and the route into and through the airport has become one long mantra on saving the climate.
The Greenpeace ship Beluga is positioned in the Öresund outside the airport sporting a giant banner which can be clearly seen from the air as delegates fly in. As you can see, the message is stark and simple: "Stop climate change here".
Once inside the airport, delegates will pass by several large adverts with images of what our world leaders might look like come 2020 and the frank admissions they may be forced into if the climate deal gets fudged. You can see Brown and Obama below, but Rudd, Medvedev, Harper, Sarkozy, Tusk, Merkel, da Silva and Zapatero have also been given the same predictive treatment.
