Here's the latest video from Esperanza off the west of Shetland, as our swimmers continue their vigil to halt Chevron's giant drill ship, the Stena Carron. This phase of the action is now in its third day. We've been stopping the deepwater oil drillers for a week now.
Why are we here? Because oil companies are going to extreme lengths to extract oil from hard to get places as the easy to reach supplies run out - increasing the chances of environmental disasters like the Gulf of Mexico right here on our shores, and jeopardising our chances of stopping climate change.
We need to start thinking about a world beyond oil, and how we start to move towards a clean energy efficient future.
