Once again this year we teamed up with Mi7 Records to put on live music in the Greenpeace field. Following last year's success with the Departure Lounge, where we put on acts including Laura Marling and Mumford and Sons, this time around we decided to step up our game.
So the Earth Dome, our big world globe stage smack in the middle of the field, played host to four full days of live music from the Mi7 roster, including Visions of Trees, Badforlazuras, Matt Sage and Gaynor O'Flynn.
Plus of course Zietgeist Theatre's Palm Oil The Musical, and the amazing Recycled Orchestra, who adapted the old Tears for Fears classic "shout" to reflect this years rainforest them, using only instruments made from recycled waste and a little help from fellow artists Florence and the Machine, The Foals, Flaming Lips and a whole bunch of festival goers.
