Paula's looking for work .. we've got something for her

You are all brilliant.

We asked for your help to raise the cash to buy a polar bear which has become dear to our hearts (well, polar bear costume) and the response has been amazing. You've more than matched our target of £4,000 to find a new home for Paula Bear, and the current total is up around £4,500.

Thanks to your huge generosity, and that of the National Theatre (where Paula was until recently starring in climate change drama Greenland), we're now able to give Paula a new home and set her to work on protecting the Arctic from the ravages of the oil industry. No longer will Paula face being abandoned at Paddington Station with nothing but a suitcase and a marmalade sandwich.

Even though we've smashed our target, don't let that stop you making a donation if you haven't already. Any further money raised will be used in our campaign to halt the reckless exploration for oil in the Arctic, and you'll be the first to know when Paula swings into action.

A swinging polar bear. Now that's got to be worth paying to see.
