The Arctic 30 detention hearings are continuing today - you can watch the live feed from court and follow the latest updates - and so far, 15 people have been granted bail. Colin Russell is the notable exception, and we'll be appealing that decision.

The detention hearings are continuing, and so far everyone has been granted bail - apart from Colin Russell, the ship's radio operator. It's inconsistent and unfair, but as you can see from this video filmed yesterday in court, Colin still looks strong and his words are beautiful.

As the Arctic 30 reach day 55 of their detention, pressure grows around the world for their release. Messages of support have flooded in via social media, email and snail mail. However, along with them a few questions: what is David Cameron doing? Should I lobby my MP? Why on earth are you targeting Shell? We’ve taken a sample of your questions and provided some answers.

AS TRANSFER OF ARCTIC 30 TO ST PETERSBURG BEGINS

London, 11th November 2013 – Arctic 30 moved by train from Murmansk to St Petersburg as families of UK nationals meet with minister at Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The transport to St Petersburg of thirty men and women detained by Russia following a peaceful protest at an Arctic oil platform started at around 5:00am Monday, local time. Greenpeace International understands the move is taking place by prisoner train. Lawyers for the thirty who tried to visit them in Murmansk this morning were told by officials at the detention centre that all thirty were already being transported.

We've just received incredible new footage that shows the moment Russian special forces abseiled onto the heli deck of the Arctic Sunrise and detained the crew at gun point.

David 'Haussy' Haussmann is one of the 'Arctic 30' detained in Russia and charged with piracy for a peaceful protest against Arctic oil drilling.

Below is a letter from David to everyone who's supported him over the past 28 days.

Swiss activist Marco Weber, who is currently being held in a Russian prison along with 29 others following the storming of the Arctic Sunrise by Russian agents on 19 September, has written a letter of thanks to all the people supporting the Arctic 30. In it he explains why he believes that people power is necessary to protect the Arctic and how the support of the public is keeping him going.
