This is an exciting opportunity to join a small friendly team at the UK’s leading human rights campaign on Burma. Burma Campaign UK is making a difference, supporting human rights activists from Burma and persuading the international community to cut funds and arms to the military dictatorship.
This is a key role as our work relies on donations and support from our supporters.
We are looking for a motivated individual whose responsibilities include ensuring effective supporter care, building relationships with our supporters, maintaining financial records and ensuring the smooth running of the office and office administrative systems.
You will also be responsible for supporting fundraising activities and encouraging fundraising and campaign activity where possible.
In addition, you will provide supporter care and admin support for our partner charity, Advance Myanmar, which is providing life-saving assistance to activists and communities in Burma.
You may already have supporter care or fundraising experience, which would be an advantage, but the post would also suit someone with excellent administrative skills and enthusiasm to learn.
Whatever your background, you will have good project management skills and be an effective and engaging communicator with the interpersonal skills that are essential for developing good relationships with colleagues, supporters and potential funders.
Burma Campaign UK offers a friendly workplace and flexible working opportunities. Our office is in Brixton, just 3 minutes from the tube and with great transport links.
