The first is the ideology in liberation theory which says that “when you liberate the country, you own it” and “no one has the right to talk about it but the liberators only”. But the slogans of the liberation struggle are freedom, Justice, equality, prosperity and development for all. By these slogans, everyone rallied to support the struggle. When liberation in Africa is successful, the liberation slogans are thrown aside. Then No freedom, no Justice, no equality, no prosperity to all and no development to all is introduced. In reality, all over the world, no one is equal to others, especially to those in power. Whether in the developed world, no one is equal to those in power. Men will never be equal on earth. They cannot go to prison but prisons are yours.
The second is the theories of silencing the voices of the people and cracking down on people who are eyes to others and creation of fear in people to keep quiet and watch in silence as war to rule people under fear.
The third is the methods used in elections where those in power rig the election by using those they put in offices to favor them. Overstaying in power is another. The acts of rigging elections denied voters their rights of choice and denied those who want to lead through elections the rights to serve people in unique ways that may bring changes and development. These are harmful practices that must stop. The last thing to talk about is healthy and peaceful elections all over the continent.
There are wars that broke out as a result of alleged rigged elections like in Tigray region in Ethiopia, coups in west Africa, liberation wars in Uganda to overthrow dictator Iddi Amin and in Rwanda that brought Kagame to power and in Sudan that led to separation of South Sudan into an independent country. These were bad projects that killed many people. But peaceful elections are a bloodless exercise of civilian rights and bring quick development. Leaders elected work hard to do good to win reelection but overstaying in power is exercise of wrong power to rule without fear.
In my appeal and humble request, I appeal to all African leaders to leave aside changing constitutions to favour them and to give voters the right to choose the leaders they want and to cooperate peacefully with those coming into power through elections. My humble request is that led us give Africa brake from blood pouring. The leaders have to remember the blood poured during independence struggle from colonizers and liberation wars waged against dictators. When we count the men, women and children who died in these struggles, they are the biggest population. Let us not allow more blood pouring but let us pay it back by real freedom, peace, development, prosperity and Justice to everyone regardless of personal status. Allow everyone the freedom to express themselves. There is no self expression in the grave. See the population of the countries in the west, Asia, Australia, America and see the population of China as a country. Why do they protect one citizen not to be kill overseas and what can do to protect our citizens at home and abroad? I request for the regional groupings, Africa Union, head of states and governments to rewrite their constitutions to favor fair and free elections that respects the rights and freedoms of every citizens for quick and rapid development by the citizens who want to exercise their gifts.
