Ahead of the 2024 Children’s Day celebration on May 27, Earlybrite, a leading educational platform, is offering scholarships to 100 children and teenagers on coding, robotics, animation, game development, among others.

Chief Executive Officer, Earlybrite, Victor Tubotamuno, disclosed this during an interview on Saturday in Lagos.

Mr Tubotamuno said that the scholarship is geared towards enhancing the tech skills of the prospective beneficiaries.

He noted that Earlybrite is deeply committed to empowering the next generation with the skills they need to thrive in a digital world.

He said, “By offering these scholarships, we hope to inspire creativity, problem-solving, and innovation among young learners. This initiative is not just about providing education; it’s about opening doors to future opportunities and helping children realise their potential.’’

The Earlybrite boss called for more collaboration with partners to expand the reach of the scholarship, adding that “this is key to making a significant impact.”

Mr Tubotamuno said, “By working together, we can ensure that even more young people have the chance to benefit from high-quality tech education. We invite organisations, educators, and tech companies to join us in this mission to bring these valuable learning experiences to a wider audience.’’

According to him, to participate, individuals must join the educational platform’s Twitter challenge using the hashtags #Earlybrite100 and #EarlybriteCares.

Mr Tubotamuno stated that winners would be randomly selected starting from May 26.

He stated, “As part of the entry requirements, participants need to follow Earlybrite on all social media platforms and join our digital parenting forum.’’

Earlybrite is an educational platform dedicated to providing innovative educational solutions that prepare children and teens for the future.

With a focus on tech skills such as coding, robotics, animation, and game development, Earlybrite aims to make learning engaging and accessible for young minds.
