Barely 24 hours after she was disgraced from the altar, Anyim Vera, the woman who was accused of giving ‘false testimony’ at the popular Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, has said she bears no grudges against the church’s cleric.

She added that she already had a warm meeting with Paul Enenche and his wife, Becky.

“I don’t have any grudge against the church or them. I remain committed to serving God as a member of Dunamis Church. I am thankful for the concern of the public.

“I have put the situation at my back, and I have moved forward, and I want everybody to do the same. Peace,” Ms Vira wrote in a post on Monday.

Ms Vera’s position came after her video went viral on social media, on Sunday, showing how Mr Enenche, the senior pastor of the church, was questioning her over the testimony she gave.

The middle-aged woman had claimed in the viral video that she graduated with a ‘BSC in law’ from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN – but her testimony did not go down well with Mr Enenche, who interjected and accused her of ‘lying’ on the pulpit.

The cleric, in a frenzy mood, told Ms Vera that she did not sound like a law graduate, considering her spoken English.

He stressed that no tertiary institution would hand over a BSc in law to any graduate of the legal course.

Mr Enenche, although, has apologised over the embarrassing video but the footage continued to generate angry reactions among netizens.
