Saudi Arabia Pro League side Al Hilal have offered €140 million, approximately N120 billion, to Napoli to sign highly-rated Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, Peoples Gazette understands.

According to Sky Sports, Al Hilal, who recently submitted a record €300 million bid to sign embattled Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, are in discussion with Napoli over a potential transfer deal for the player.

However, the Italian club wants at least €150 million to consider selling the highly-rated striker. On the player’s side, Al Hilal is willing to offer the Super Eagles forward €1 million, approximately N850 million per week, to tempt him with a move to the Middle East.

Last month, Napoli and the 24-year-old failed to reach an agreement on a new two-year extension – the club want a €200 million release clause inserted into the contract, but Osimhen is only willing to sign the extension if the release clause is €150 million.

Meanwhile, there are no current indications from the player’s camp that Osimhen is open to considering the “attractive” offer from the Saudi Pro League, where many top players in Europe have moved to in the ongoing transfer window.
