Since its launch in 2004, the Garden Furniture Guide has been extremely successful. We've seen many retailers working hard to improve their policies and removing furniture that has been made as a result of ancient forest destruction.
However, we're not updating the Guide this year so to make sure you're not sponsoring wanton deforestation, always look for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) logo on any wooden products you buy. This is a guarantee that the wood comes from sources that are responsibly managed.
