It's been a while since we heard from Woolworths about their policy on light bulbs, so we thought we'd deliver a little something to let them know we haven't forgotten about them.
Over the past couple of months, volunteers have been outside branches of Woolies across the country, gathering signatures from customers who want the company to get rid of inefficient light bulbs by the end of the year. Some of those signatures - written on special 'Seize the light' flags - have now been delivered to Woolworths and are hanging in a tree outside their London headquarters, gently fluttering in the breeze. Thanks to all those who spent their weekends collecting the signatures - you can see them in action below.
Thanks also to everyone who's been sending emails to CEO Trevor-Bish Jones. He's been sending everyone a standard response, although it's pretty much the same one he sent to our campaigners back in July. Perhaps more emails from his customers will help shift his position - send yours now.
