Accessibility Statement
Clean Slate Pressure Washing is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Target
This website targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including auditory, cognitive, neurological, physical, speech, and visual disabilities.
Measures We Have Taken
To support accessibility, this website incorporates the following:
- Semantic HTML5 structure with proper landmark elements (
<nav>,<main>,<article>,<section>,<footer>); - ARIA landmarks and labels on interactive components where standard HTML semantics are insufficient;
- Full keyboard navigation across all interactive elements;
- Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text;
- Alt text on all meaningful images; decorative images marked with
alt=""; - A "skip to main content" link as the first focusable element on every page;
- Visible focus indicators on all buttons, links, and form fields;
- Form labels explicitly associated with their inputs;
- Mobile tap targets of at least 48 × 48 pixels.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- Embedded Google Maps may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA in all assistive technology scenarios. We provide a text address and a "get directions" link as alternatives.
- Third-party review widgets and embedded social content are subject to the accessibility of those providers.
- Before-and-after image comparison sliders include both still images with descriptive alt text as a fallback for users who cannot operate the drag interaction.
Assessment Approach
This website is assessed regularly using:
- Automated tools (axe DevTools, WAVE, Lighthouse);
- Manual keyboard-only navigation testing;
- Screen reader testing using VoiceOver and NVDA;
- Color contrast verification using the WebAIM contrast checker.
