Colgate agrees to stop buying dirty palm oil - but P&G is still dodging the issue

Great news: Colgate just agreed to stop buying palm oil from forest destroyers. Not only is this a win for fans of dental hygiene (and let's face it, no one wants orangutan breath) but it leaves Procter & Gamble more isolated than ever.

Protect forests or destroy forests? Time to take a side

It's been over a week since we asked Procter & Gamble to stop buying palm oil from forest destroyers. The company's not budging - so this morning we asked staff at their advertising agency to take a side.

Thousands demand Head and Shoulders comes clean about its dirty palm oil

Two days ago, we revealed that the maker of Head & Shoulders, Procter & Gamble, was buying palm oil from companies trashing Indonesia's rainforests. It thinks this is sustainable. It's not. 

When we put our allegations to P&G, it claimed to be "committed to the sustainable sourcing of palm oil" and "strongly opposed to irresponsible deforestation".
