Whether you celebrate World Honey Bee Day by rustling up your favourite honey-orange quinoa or watching Hitchcock’s ‘The Bees’, spare a thought for these tiny workers today. The awareness day was initially organised by beekeepers in the USA to highlight bees' involvement in sustainable farming and food production. Many crops are pollinated by bees and we have them to thank for apples, pumpkins and more.

Every year on the 29^th July the largest members of the cat family have their special day which raises awareness and celebrates these iconic animals. It’s estimated that fewer than 4,000 tigers are left in the wild with almost 93% of their historic range being lost.

Dolphins are extremely intelligent and social animals that live in pods, can swim at a speed of up to 25 miles per hour and maybe able to dive up to 1,000 feet - as well as jump as high as 20 feet out of the water. These images document why we need to protect these magnificent creatures!
