A team of staff and volunteers were busy working away at this year's Hay on Wye Book Festival - promoting the Greenpeace Book Campaign to the tens of thousands of authors, publishers and members of the general public who descend on Hay once a year for a feast of literary talks, films and workshops.

New report confirms UK wind energy crucial to combat climate change

'Wind Power in the UK', a report from the Sustainable Development Commission (SDC), confirms that a rapid expansion of UK wind energy is essential to reduce carbon emissions and thereby minimise the potentially catastrophic impacts of climate change.

Greenpeace shuts down Range Rover assembly line

Early this morning 35 Greenpeace volunteers shut down the assembly line making gas-guzzling Range Rovers. Urban 4x4s made at this site are wrecking the climate.
