This morning I sent an email to Greenpeace's email list, explaining how the government is due to introduce huge tax hikes that could have a devastating impact on the UK solar industry. Here's the email below in case you missed it, and a link to the petition you can sign to push back.

To say 2016 has been eventful would be an understatement - the political upheaval brought about by Brexit in the UK and the new president-elect in the United States, not to mention the ongoing conflict in Syria, are just a part of an overall tumultuous year.

Dear Mayor Sadiq Khan,

2016 has been a year full of air pollution lowlights. The UK has the second highest number of premature deaths in Europe owing to bad air quality. London has suffered multiple high air pollution episodes. And the national government has been defeated in the high court for failure to deal with air quality issues. There has never been a more urgent time to take action.
