What are HA Fillers exactly?
Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic acids immediately pulls in water and increases volume. This is a great option for wrinkles, deep folds and other areas that need more volume such as cheeks and lips. These fillers are dissolved naturally with most lasting up to a year and some even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Dermaplaning works on the vellus (peach fuzz), and the hair grows back exactly the same size. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. There is no downtime with this treatment.
