What are HA Fillers and how do they work?
Juvederm or Restylane are hyaluronic fillers that are suspended in gel carriers. This gel helps the injectable hyaluronic to remain in place. The hyaluronic acids immediately pulls in water and increases volume. This is great for moderate to deeper wrinkles and folds of the face or areas where more volume is desired like cheeks or lips. These fillers dissolve easily and last for up to a year.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]

Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the Kansas–Missouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.
Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.
The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.
There are many HA Fillers available. Here we use both Restylane and Juvederm HA Fillers to deliver subtle to dramatic enhancements. You have more options and can get customized results.
What are Neurotoxins and how can they be avoided?
Botox
and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins which can temporarily improve wrinkle appearance. Repeated muscle contractions can result in facial lines and wrinkles becoming deeper and more severe over time. Botox/Dysport will temporarily decrease muscle contractions and make skin smoother.
The forehead, frown lines and crows feet are all common areas for treatment. Although results are visible in a few days following treatment, the effects will last for two weeks. Results can last up four months if taken as directed.
What is sculpture?
Sculptra uses poly-L lactic acids to slowly restore facial volume. It stimulates the natural production of collagen in your skin by slowly injecting it. Over time, the poly-L lactic acid is biodegraded to create a new meshwork of collagen. The areas that may be treated include the temples, cheeks or nasolabialfolds as well as the jawline. The majority of patients will need three treatments in the first few months, followed by one annual treatment. Results can last more than two years!
What is Kybella?
Kybella can be used to permanently remove fat cells. One to five Kybella vials may be required depending on the amount of fat. Multiple sessions may be required. The most common area to be treated is the submental, also known by the 'double-chin'. Treatments can be stopped once the desired aesthetic goal was achieved.
What is a Vitamin B-12 Shot?
Vitamin B-12, an essential vitamin, is what our body needs to function well. This injection could help improve energy, decrease fatigue, speed metabolism, improve sleep patterns and increase concentration. It may also boost immunity.
What is HydraFacial and how does it work?
HydraFacial treats all skin needs. It uses patented technology to clean, extract and hydrate the skin.
HydraFacial serums are made from nourishing ingredients to give you an instant glow.
First, clean and peel the skin to reveal a new layer. This is done by gentle exfoliation. Next, a light chemical peel will be applied to smoothen the skin and prepare it in order for painless extractions. Next, debris from the pores is removed using painless suction. The skin is then nourished. The skin is then infused with antioxidants and peptides to enhance its glow. There is absolutely no downtime.
What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplaning uses an operating-grade surgical blade to remove the dead skin, debris, or hair layer. A single dermaplaning session is able to remove around 2-3 weeks of built-up dead skin cells and debris from your skin. Dermplane is completely painless and non-invasive. Although it may look like shaving, dermplane is more efficient because the blade can reach the top layer of the skin. You don't have to worry about your hair getting darker. Dermaplaning targets the peach fuzz (vellus hair) which grows back in the same size and color. In addition, the way the surgical blade cuts the hair does not create the illusion of thicker hair. There is no downtime.
What is a Chemical Peel and how does it work?
Chemical peels are treatments that use a chemical solution to treat the skin's top layers. Chemical peels can help improve the skin's texture as well as radiance. Chemical peels can be performed in three strengths: deep, medium, or superficial. Improvement in the skin varies depending on your concerns and which peel is selected to address your needs. Multiple treatments are recommended for best results.
What is Clear + Brilliant Laser?
Clear + Brilliant Laser is based in advanced technology. Clear + Brilliant is simple to use. Clear + Brilliant starts with a consultation. This allows you to discuss your concerns and determine whether Clear + Brilliant is right to treat them. The practitioner will recommend a Clear + brilliant Laser treatment program. There are two handpieces you can choose from, one to address issues with skin texture like fine lines/wrinkles as well as poor size and brown spots.
What is an Insta-Glo Facial?
Insta-Glo Facials leave you radiant for days! It's a combination of a HydroJelly mask and a custom-made ampoule. This is the perfect treatment for your skin.
The skin must be cleansed and exfoliated first. Then the ampoule is applied and is infused into the skin using our Nano Infusion Pen. After that, HydroJelly is applied. The appropriate products are then applied to your skin. You are now ready to go! The treatment is quick and requires little to no downtime.

This is a review for medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
"I've been to about a dozen different medical spas and plastic surgery offices across the country, and this one has been my absolute favorite so far. Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff, good products and incredible prices. I was paying almost $100 more for a single chemical peel/hydrafacial at other medical spas and still wasn't getting the results I got from visiting Mia Bella. Not only are the estheticians friendly and thorough, but they take their time on your procedures (low light, relaxing music) and really make a practical, result-driven procedure feel like a trip to the spa. Oh, and I received derma planning at the beginning of each procedure for no extra cost (typically a $50 charge at other places)"
