What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm or Restylane are hyaluronic fillers that are suspended in gel carriers. This gel helps the hyaluronic acid stay in place where injected. The hyaluronic acids immediately pulls in water and increases volume. This works well for deeper to more severe wrinkles, folds, and areas of the face where more volume is needed. These fillers dissolve naturally with most lasting at least a year. Others may last longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. What is Kybella?
Kybella can be used to permanently remove fat cells. Depending on the amount of fat present one to five vials of Kybella may be needed during a single treatment session and multiple treatment sessions may be necessary. The most common area to be treated is the submental, also known by the 'double-chin'. Once the desired aesthetic goal has been achieved, treatment can be stopped.
