What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid fillers suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the hyaluronic acid stay in place where injected. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This works well for deeper to more severe wrinkles, folds, and areas of the face where more volume is needed. These fillers can be dissolved naturally, with most lasting for at least one year. Some may last even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What are Neurotoxins?
Botox
and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins which can temporarily improve wrinkle appearance. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and lines to appear and grow over time. Botox/Dysport will temporarily decrease muscle contractions and make skin smoother.

What is Sculptra?
Sculptra uses poly-L lactic acids to slowly restore facial volume. It stimulates your skin's natural ability over time to produce collagen. Over several months, the poly-L-lactic acid is biodegraded and replaced with a meshwork of new collagen. Treatment areas may include, temples, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and jawline. Most people will need three treatments within a few months. After that, they only need one treatment each year. Results can last more than two years!
What is Kybella?
Kybella, an injectable treatment approved for permanently eliminating fat cells, is available. Depending upon the amount of fat present, up to five vials (or more) of Kybella might be required during one treatment session. Sometimes multiple sessions are necessary. The submental fat, otherwise known as a double chin, is the most common area that requires treatment. Once the desired aesthetic goal has been achieved, treatment can be stopped.

While the technique looks like shaving, it's much more effective than that because the blade used is able reach right up against the skin's top layer.
