What are HA Fillers exactly?
Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid fillers suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the hyaluronic acid stay in place where injected. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers dissolve naturally with most lasting at least a year. Others may last longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Sculptra uses poly-L lactic acids to slowly restore facial volume. It stimulates your skin's natural ability over time to produce collagen. Over time, the poly-L lactic acid is biodegraded to create a new meshwork of collagen. Treatment areas could include the cheeks, jawline, nasolabialfolds, temples and cheeks. Most people will need three treatments within a few months. After that, they only need one treatment each year. The results can last up to two years.
What is Kybella anyway?
Kybella is an injectable treatment approved to permanently destroy fat cells. Depending on the amount and type of fat, one to five Kybella vials might be necessary.
