What are HA Fillers exactly?
Juvederm or Restylane are hyaluronic fillers that are suspended in gel carriers. This gel helps the injection of hyaluronic Acid stay in its place. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This works well for deeper to more severe wrinkles, folds, and areas of the face where more volume is needed. These fillers dissolve easily and last for up to a year.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]

Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the Kansas–Missouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.
Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.
The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.
There are many options for HA Fillers. We use Restylane and Juvederm's HA Fillers for subtle enhancements to dramatic effects. You have more options and can get customized results.
What are Neurotoxins, exactly?
Botox and Dysport, injectable neurotoxins, can temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and lines to appear and grow over time. Botox and Dysport will weaken these muscle contractions temporarily leaving the skin visibly smoother.
Common areas to treat include the forehead and frown lines. While results may be visible within a few days of treatment, the process will take two weeks to complete. You can expect to see results for as long as four months, if you do the right dosage.
What is Sculptra exactly?
Sculptra is a bio-stimulatory injectable that contains poly-L-lactic Acid. It helps to gradually restore facial volume. When injected, it stimulates your skin's natural ability gradually to make collagen. The poly-L-lactic acids is gradually biodegraded over several months and replaced by a network of new collagen. The areas that may be treated include the temples, cheeks or nasolabialfolds as well as the jawline. Most initially will require three treatments over a couple of months and then just one treatment annually. Results can last more than two years!
What is Kybella?
Kybella is an injection that can permanently destroy fat cells. Depending on the amount and type of fat, one to five Kybella vials might be necessary. Multiple treatment sessions may also be required. The most common area of treatment is the submental fat otherwise known as a 'double chin'. Once a desired aesthetic goal is achieved, treatments can be stopped.
What is a Vitamin B-12 shot?
Vitamin B-12 can be considered an essential vitamin. This injection may help with increasing energy levels, improving fatigue, speeding up metabolism, improving sleep patterns, increasing concentration, improving mood, and boosting the immune system to name a few.
What is a HydraFacial?
The HydraFacial treatment addresses all skincare needs using patented technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate the skin.
HydraFacial super serums are made with nourishing ingredients that create an instant glow in just a few steps.
The first step involves gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and reveal new layers. Then a light chemical peel is applied to help resurface the skin and prepare it for painless extractions. Next, the pores are cleaned out using painless suction and the skin is nourished. Last, antioxidants and peptides are infused into the skin to maximize the skin's glow. The best part? There's no downtime!
What is Dermaplane, exactly?
Dermaplaning is a surgical procedure that uses a medical-grade blade to remove dead skin and other debris. A single dermaplaning session is able to remove around 2-3 weeks of built-up dead skin cells and debris from your skin. Dermplane is painless and non-invasive. While it looks similar to shaving, Dermplane is far more effective as the blade is able to reach the top of the skin. There is no need to worry about the hair growing back darker- dermaplaning targets the vellus hair (peach fuzz) that grows back the same size and color. It doesn't give the illusion that the hair is thicker because of the way it is cut. This procedure is painless and requires no downtime.
What is Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is a procedure that involves applying a chemical solution on the skin to remove the outer layers of the dermis. Chemical peels can help improve the skin's texture as well as radiance. Chemical peels come in superficial, medium, and deep strengths. The results of a chemical peel will vary depending on the concerns you have and what type of treatment you choose. To achieve the best results, it is advisable to use multiple treatments.
What is Clear + Brilliant Laser?
Clear + Brilliant Laser's advanced technology is used to provide Clear + Brilliant treatments. Clear + Brilliant treatments begin with a consultation. This is where your practitioner will determine if Clear + Brilliant treatment is right for you. From there, your practitioner can recommend a Clear + Brilliant Laser treatment regimen. There are two handpieces that can be used to address skin texture issues.
What is an Insta-Glo Facial?
Our signature Insta-Glo Facial will leave you glowing for days! It's a combination of a HydroJelly mask and a custom-made ampoule. This is the perfect treatment for your skin.
First, cleanse and exfoliate the skin. Then the ampoule is applied and is infused into the skin using our Nano Infusion Pen. After that, HydroJelly is applied. Finally, the correct products are applied to your skin. This treatment requires very little or no downtime.
This is a review for medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
"I've been to about a dozen different medical spas and plastic surgery offices across the country, and this one has been my absolute favorite so far. Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff, good products and incredible prices. I was paying almost $100 more for a single chemical peel/hydrafacial at other medical spas and still wasn't getting the results I got from visiting Mia Bella. Not only are the estheticians friendly and thorough, but they take their time on your procedures (low light, relaxing music) and really make a practical, result-driven procedure feel like a trip to the spa. Oh, and I received derma planning at the beginning of each procedure for no extra cost (typically a $50 charge at other places)"
The truth is it depends. If you are buying from a reputable dealer, they will typically have standardized pricing and occasionally have a promotion or sale. Other times, you may be able to negotiate add-ons or additional features.
